Prenatal Chiropractor: Blue Ridge Chiropractic & Acupuncture

Purcellville Prenatal Chiropractor

Chiropractic care in pregnancy is so important! Prenatal Chiropractic care is a step towards creating an optimally aligned pelvis before your baby arrives! Consistent chiropractic care can help your baby choose a head down position, as opposed to a breech position. When your pelvis is aligned it creates space for your baby as they settle into the position they will birth in, however, sometimes they still chose to be in a breech position, this is where chiropractic care comes in handy.

What can you expect with Chiropractic Care from Blue Ridge Chiropractic & Acupuncture

Chiropractic care typically starts with an intake visit before you begin adjustments! Adjustments help keep your spine and your pelvis in line so that there are minimal subluxations, or misalignments, during your pregnancy. Chiropractic care can help with hip pain, back pain, discomfort in the abdomen/hips/pelvis and sacrum and many pregnant women find that it is exceptionally helpful in alleviating their sciatica pain and making sleeping easier! You might see your chiropractor 2-4 times a month until birth, or more, depending on the need. Dr. Christina or Dr. Perry will ensure that you have a plan that fits your needs!

We recommend chiropractic care to all of our clients to ensure that you are comfortable, supported and ready to welcome your baby!
